The Door Supervisor Refresher course is designed for existing SIA licence holders who need to renew their Door Supervisor licence in line with current SIA requirements.
This mandatory refresher ensures you remain compliant while updating your knowledge, skills and professional standards. The course covers the latest industry guidance, safety procedures, physical intervention updates, and counter-terror awareness requirements.
Delivered by experienced industry instructors, this two-day programme combines classroom-based learning with practical assessments in a supportive, professional environment.

To enrol on the Door Supervisor Refresher course, learners must:
Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (or have held one within the last 3 years)
Be aged 18 or over
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (with at least 12 months remaining at the start of the course), or complete this as part of our blended package
Prior to attending the classroom sessions, learners will be required to:
Complete pre-course self-study material provided by MJK Training
Complete the required ACT Awareness e-learning and Security Awareness e-learning https://www.protectuk.police.uk/catalogue
Evidence of completion will be requested by Day 1.
These elements ensure learners arrive prepared and allow classroom time to focus on practical skills, discussion, and updated industry requirements.
Learners must bring:
Valid photo ID (passport or driving licence)
Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months)
